ANSWERS ON RECORD

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything about investigations, verdicts, pricing and data — on the record.

GENERAL

It investigates a computer before you buy or build it. Give us a product link, a component list, a description or a budget — we analyze performance, compatibility, bottlenecks, thermals, value and upgrade potential, then deliver a clear verdict: BUILD IT, BUY IT, RECONFIGURE, OVERPRICED, BOTTLENECKED or SKIP.

Seconds for a Quick Check, and under a minute for a full Deep Analysis. You watch each investigation step complete in real time — no black box, no waiting room.

That is exactly what it is for. Paste the listing link before checkout and you will know whether the price, balance and configuration survive scrutiny — before the money leaves your account.

No. We sell analysis, not hardware. We have no inventory, no affiliate-driven rankings and no reason to push you toward any particular machine.

PC ANALYSIS

Yes. Paste a product page link and PPHU ABC identifies the system, extracts the configuration and runs the full investigation — compatibility, bottlenecks, value and upgrade path included.

Yes. Use the Build tab or the Build Analyzer to enter components one by one. Each part is analyzed, checked against the others and scored.

Yes — the PC Builder lets you assemble a system component by component with live compatibility, power and balance feedback as you add each part.

Yes. Tell us something like “1440p gaming, 1,500 credits budget” and we investigate the class of machine that fits, then generate a concrete configuration with a full analysis.

Yes. The Professional System Audit includes multi-configuration comparison — prebuilt vs custom vs alternative prebuilt, with price, performance and value side by side.

COMPATIBILITY

Yes. Every investigation checks CPU ↔ motherboard socket, motherboard ↔ RAM generation, storage interfaces, GPU ↔ case clearance, GPU ↔ PSU connectors and wattage, cooler mounting and physical dimensions.

We say so. Unverifiable pairings are marked CHECK with an explanation of what to confirm against the manufacturer's spec sheet. We never print fake certainty.

Yes. The PC Builder blocks or flags impossible combinations — a DDR4 kit in a DDR5-only board or an oversized GPU in a compact case surfaces as a compatibility issue immediately, not after checkout.

PERFORMANCE

We model the CPU → GPU feed relationship at your target resolution, RAM capacity against the workload, storage speed against system responsiveness and thermal headroom against sustained clocks. Each is graded NONE / LOW / MODERATE / HIGH with an explanation.

Yes — the Performance Profile rates the system across 1080p, 1440p and 4K gaming, plus streaming, editing, rendering, programming and AI workloads. Ratings run from Excellent to Not Recommended.

No estimate is a guarantee. Our profiles are informed projections based on component class — real results vary with drivers, games and settings. Treat them as engineering guidance, not benchmark contracts.

Yes. Alternative component suggestions include current vs alternative price and performance class, with the reasoning spelled out — so you see the trade-off, not just a swap.

THERMALS & POWER

Yes. The Thermal Check estimates CPU and GPU load temperatures against the cooling and case airflow, and grades the system COOL / NORMAL / WARM / HIGH RISK with a concrete explanation.

Yes. The Power Check sums estimated draw per component, compares it to your PSU, and reports headroom as GOOD HEADROOM, LIMITED HEADROOM or INSUFFICIENT — including a recommended wattage.

Yes. Modern GPUs produce short transient spikes well above their rated draw. Our power model applies a safety factor, which is why we often recommend one PSU tier up for flagship cards.

PRICING & VALUE

Yes. The Price & Value section totals estimated component value, adds assembly/service value for prebuilts, and shows the premium you would pay — clearly labeled as demo data where live pricing is unavailable.

Yes. When the asking price sits well above component value plus a fair assembly margin, the verdict is OVERPRICED and we show the math.

Yes — the Better Component Options section lists current vs alternative parts with price difference, performance difference and the reasoning for each swap.

Not in this demo release. All prices are realistic illustrative data, clearly labeled. The system is structured so live pricing APIs can be connected without changing the interface.

UPGRADES

Yes. Every report includes “What happens in 2 years?” — a timeline showing today's configuration against future GPU, RAM, storage and PSU moves, each marked READY, POSSIBLE, RECOMMENDED or REQUIRED.

Yes. Enter your current components plus the part you are considering and we check the platform runway, PSU capacity and case clearance before you spend anything.

Yes. “If this were my build” frequently recommends keeping components — a part that already serves the workload is money better saved.

BUILDING

Yes, with dedicated checks for SFF constraints: GPU length and slot width, cooler height, SFX power and the airflow path inside compact volumes.

Yes — workstation investigations weight sustained performance, memory capacity, VRM and cooling reliability, and expandability rather than peak benchmark numbers.

Yes. AI investigations lead with VRAM capacity, then power delivery, thermals under sustained load and multi-GPU expansion potential.

Not yet. Laptops are sealed systems with very different constraints. Our engine is built around socketed, configurable desktop hardware — laptop support is on the roadmap.

VERDICTS

Strong component balance and good overall value. The configuration works as specified and the money is well allocated — proceed with confidence.

The prebuilt system offers strong performance for the current price. The component list survives scrutiny and the premium over DIY is fair.

The system is good, but several components should be changed. The report shows exactly which parts to swap and why before you commit.

The hardware is reasonable, but the asking price is difficult to justify. We show the estimated component value so you can negotiate or walk away.

One or more components may significantly limit system performance — a weak CPU under a strong GPU, an undersized PSU, or cooling that clips your boost clocks.

Too many technical or value concerns relative to the price. Better options exist at the same money, and the report points toward them.

DATA

A component knowledge base of specifications, power draw and performance classes, combined with deterministic analysis models for compatibility, thermals and value.

No — in this release, pricing, availability and benchmark data are realistic demo data, clearly labeled as such. Live data integrations are designed into the architecture and clearly marked when active.

The analysis notes availability gaps as CHECK items rather than inventing stock data, and alternative component suggestions give you an immediate fallback.

Yes. Every investigation becomes a numbered PC Case you can save to My Systems (stored in your browser) and reopen at any time. Sharing via link is on the roadmap.
